Dr. Adam Sobota

Legal advisor at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Wrocław, partner and co-founder of the law firm. He passed his professional exam with one of the highest scores in the Chamber. Doctor of law. He defended his doctoral thesis prepared at the Department of Civil Procedure of the University of Wrocław with honours. A practitioner, educator, and academic activist. He gained professional experience from the early years of his studies, practising in courts and law firms in Wrocław and providing free pro bono legal advice. He completed his full-time law studies at the Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economics at the University of Wrocław with honours. As a doctoral student, for four years he taught civil procedure to fourth-year law students at the University of Wrocław. He also cooperated with the H. Chodkowska Higher School of Law, where for several years he conducted exercises in the field of civil procedure, civil law, and labour law. Author of monographs and articles as well as a voice in the field of civil law, labour law, and civil procedure (among others: Appeal of a donation made, Objections to the protocol in civil proceedings, Civil proceedings – selected issues and tests, Economic analysis of the limitation of the trial in civil proceedings, Voting and waiving questions at a trial in civil proceedings, Preliminary agreement in employment relations, One-time employment contract for a probationary period, commentary to the judgement of the Court of Appeal in Białystok of 12 April 2013). Professionally most closely associated with loans denominated and indexed to the CHF currency, he represents borrowers before courts across Poland in numerous proceedings for payment or cancellation of concluded contracts. Founder and lecturer of the Saturday School of English Law, where he conducts courses and training in the field of Legal English for other lawyers and translates legal documents.
